PURPOSE: A shopping cart and a power generation system and a method thereof is provided to generates electricity by using power for using a shopping cart by a consumer as a energy source. CONSTITUTION: A shopping cart comprises a generator, a rectifier, a storage battery, and an electric connector. The generator converts the kinetic energy generated from the one or more wheels installed in a shopping cart into an electrical energy. The rectifier converts the AC output voltage of generator into the direct current voltage. The storage battery stores the electrical energy generated in the generator. The electric connector connects a (+) electrode of the storage battery to (-) electrode of the storage battery of the other shopping cart and a (-) electrode of the storage battery to (+) electrode of the storage battery of the other shopping cart. |
