PURPOSE: A hydrogen generating device is provided to increase efficiency by making a first reaction device and a second reaction device share solar energy collected in a light collecting device and using generated heat and shorten time necessary for generating hydrogen by making the first reaction device and the second reaction device generate hydrogen. CONSTITUTION: A hydrogen generating device includes a dish-shaped light collecting device(110); a supporting part(120) supporting the light collecting device; a first reaction device(130); a second reaction device(140); a rotation part(150); a peripheral(160); and a control part(180). The first reaction device uses solar energy collected from the light collecting device, and oxidizes or returns a metal oxide. The one end of the first reaction device is located in the focal point of the light collecting device. The second reaction device is connected with the one end of the first reaction device, and oxidizes or returns the metal oxide by using solar energy collected from the light collecting device. The rotation part rotates the location of the first reaction device and the second device. The peripheral is mounted in the supporting part, is connected with the first reaction device and the second reaction device, and collects hydrogen generated in the first reaction device and the second reaction device. The control part controls the rotation part.
