FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical and food industries, specifically to a method for preparing gamma-glycine which is widely used as a biologically active additive. The presented method for preparing gamma-glycine from the solution consists in re-crystallisation of glycine in an aqueous solution with citric acid 1-30 mol % added to the solution.
