598362 Disclosed herein is a phthalocyanine derivative of formula (I) consisting of 4 isomers wherein the isomer B is ?12.5% by weight; a process for the preparation thereof comprising: chromatographic purification of an isomeric mixture of formula (II), and treatment of the amine intermediate of formula (III) to obtain the chloride form of formula (I); and and the use thereof in the treatment of hyperproliferative diseases, psoriasis, actinic keratosis and pre-tumour, tumour pathologies or microbial infections.
