<p>The invention relates to a jig (6) for mounting a trunk lid onto the body of a motor vehicle, including a structure (60) on which are mounted: means (71, 72, 73) for supporting a side edge of said lid and means (81, 82, 83) for bearing the jig against a side fender of the body, said supporting and bearing means making it possible to position the lid with respect to the body in a vertical direction and in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle; a series of shims (90) for adjusting the clearance between the side edge of the lid and the side fender of the body in a transverse direction of the vehicle, said shims having separate thicknesses and being mounted onto a bracket (91) movably mounted on the structure so as to enable the positioning one of the various blocks in the gap between the side edge of the lid and the side fender of the body in order to enable the adjustment of said clearance.</p> |
