PURPOSE: A measurement method of an engine off timer is provided to measure normal operation on the engine off timer in abnormal operation by checking a function of the engine off timer. CONSTITUTION: A wake up set, which is set in an engine off timer(200), is performed, when the main controller is in a power off state, after a wake-up set in which power is supplied to a main controller(100) in predetermined time intervals is performed. Power is supplied to a main controller based on a time interval in the engine off timer. Present timer value is read from the engine off timer, and the present timer value and a stored final timer value are compared after the main controller is reset to power on. A normal state of the engine off timer is measured by using the compared result in the main controller.
