<p>The absorber (16) has an energy absorbing unit arranged within a housing, and comprising a tubular-shaped hollow energy absorbing element extending along first direction (D1). A support cage supports the absorbing element rotatably mounted in the housing. The cage has different compression rigidity in the first direction and in second direction (D2). A driving unit rotates the cage within the housing. The absorbing element is in conical or cylindrical shape. The driving unit comprises a motor (65) fixed to a cover (42).
