PURPOSE: A device for preventing flood by using water is provided to prevent flood damage by instantly guarding rainwater which flows in due to the backflow of a drain pipe by a momentary heavy rain. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for preventing flood by using water comprises a cylindrical guard step(110) and a supply hose(G). The cylindrical guard step is made of a synthesis rubber material and is equipped with an insertion part in the left side and a discharge part in the right bottom end. The cylindrical guard step for combining with the supply hose is stored inside a storage box(120) which is installed in the land(B) of the lower side of a building(H) entrance(H1). Water is supplied to the cylindrical guard step from the supply hose for opening a storage box cover(121), blocking the building entrance, and guarding rainwater in a heavy rain.
