<p>An apparatus for the operation of operating and display units at textile machines and systems comprises a reading device 7 provided in the region of the machines and systems. The device 7 ascertains data from information carriers 13 or identifies a person. The information obtained is supplied to an evaluating device which outputs electrical signals for an operating and/or display device. The information carrier may be an RFID device, a transponder, optical markers, a chip module or a magnetic strip. The person may be identified by fingerprint, voice recognition. The system allows access rights and display outputs to be limited to those the identified individual has authority for.</p> |
