<p>The directory (1) has primary updating units (13) allowing to copy a part of data contained in source data bases (S1-Sn) in a transition part (12). A validation circuit (14) is adapted to check the part of the data that are recopied in the transition part. Secondary updating units (18) update data of a definitive part (11) from the data resulting from the validation circuit. A consultation interface (21) allows to access the data contained in the definitive part. Person registers are updated from the data contained in the source data bases. An independent claim is also included for a method for updating person registers contained in an identity directory.</p> |
