The connection has a cylindrical fitting portion (41) for fitting a pipe portion (1). An end (4) of the pipe portion is positioned in a flange (42). A groove (44) is formed between the flange and another flange (43). A deformable ring (2) is positioned for straddling the former flange. A clamping unit clamps the deformable ring. The deformable ring is arranged such that the tightening of the deformable ring is caused. An end of the deformable ring is blocked in the groove. A section of the pipe portion is clamped by deformation around the cylindrical fitting portion.
