<p>The device has a plate (9) intended to be fixed to the body (10) of a car in an area intended for fixing a knuckle hinge. The plate includes a hole (15) intended to be placed next to an indexing hole (16) of the knuckle hinge fixed to the body of the car, where the cross section of the hole of the plate is larger than the cross section of the indexing hole to disengage the periphery of the indexing hole, and the thickness of the plate is equal to that of a plate constituting the knuckle hinge. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining, in cooperation with a three-dimensional probe, the position of a rotation axis of a hinge for a door of a car.</p> |
