PURPOSE: An automatic operation method for a bag placer is provided to reduce the transfer time of bags by transferring the bags in a standby state where packing target objects are charged into the empty bags, thereby improving productivity. CONSTITUTION: An automatic operation method for a bag placer is as follows. A suction plate of a bag suction part descends to draw in a piece of bags(S210). The piece of bags ascends at a predetermined height and moves to a bag moving part(S220). A clamp of a bag moving part receives and sends the bag transferred by the piece of bags(S230). The sent bag is fastened to a packing target object nozzle of a hopper(S240). The bag suction part moves to an original position to transfer a new bag(S250). While a spinning wheel interlocking with a driving motor rotates, packing target objects are charged into the bag by a nozzle(S280). The packing target objects are charged until the weight of the bag is reached to a predetermined value(S280,S290).
