APPARATUS FOR SEAMLESS PIPE AND FABRICATION METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A seamless pipe manufacturing device and a manufacturing method thereof is provided to weld a seam line by friction stir welding to continuously manufacture a seamless pipe with the welding portion having excellent mechanical strength, whereby the seam line is generated when an extruded material is extruded by passing through multiple extrusion holes. CONSTITUTION: A seamless pipe manufacturing device includes a container(110), a stem(112), dies(114), rotating members(118a,118b) and a correction mold(123). The container accommodates an extruded material(130). The stem compresses one end of the extruded material in the inside of the container. The dies comprises an extrusion hole(116) consisting of multiple ports. The rotating member has one side equipped with stirring tips(119a,119b) which are inserted into a connection surface formed by the butt joint of multiple metal pieces(132) ejected through the extrusion hole. The rotating member rotates with one side contacted to the connection surface to perform friction stir welding. The correction mold includes a metal pipe discharge path ejecting a metal pipe manufactured by the friction stir welding outside.
