<p>The device has an air flow sensor (7) e.g. strain gauge sensor, providing representative measurement of air flow circulating in a room to be ventilated to a control unit (10). The control unit generates an engine control for imposing an engine operating rate from the representative measurement of air flow provided by the sensor and transmits the engine control to an engine (19). The sensor is arranged in the room to be ventilated in a manner to allow a direct measurement of airflow in the room to be ventilated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a hybrid extractor comprising a base with removable fixation units for permitting fixation of the extractor on an upper end of a foul air evacuation conduit (2) a method for regulating a fan of a hybrid extractor.</p> |
