<p>The component (1) has a convex outer face (2), and an inner face (3) provided with plane distal and posterior surfaces (11, 13) that are supported against corresponding femoral bone cuts (F1, F3) with interposition of cement. The distal surface has a cylindrical bone anchoring stud (21) whose central axis (X-X) is inclined with respect to a plane (delta13) of the posterior surface, where the central axis and the plane of the posterior surface form an non-zero angle (gamma) that is less than/equal to 15 degree.
