<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a power-assisted cart configured to assist drive force by an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: A power-assisted cart 100 that travels by adding assist force to the drive force applied by an operator includes: a body frame 1 to be loaded with baggage; drive wheels 11 provided in the body frame 1; an operation handle 5 to be used for inputting the drive force to the body frame 1 by being pushed by the operator; a torque sensor 6 for detecting drive torque to be applied to the body frame 1 when the operating handle 5 is pushed; an electric motor 15 for applying the assist force corresponding to the drive torque detected by the torque sensor 6 to the drive wheels 11; and controller 30 for supplying electric current corresponding to the assist force to the electric motor 15 by operating the assist force to be applied to the drive wheels 11.
