摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an electric field or current selectively and locally in a required region in a living body, using a patterned electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is generally directed to a method for regulating cellular and/or tissue physiology, a device for practicing the method, and a method for fabricating the device.
