<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for maintaining concentration of a pure chlorine dioxide liquid solution, which is excellent in preservation stability, and in which chlorine dioxide concentration can be held in an approximately constant range for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for maintaining the chlorine dioxide concentration, gaseous chlorine dioxide is continuously discharged while holding initial concentration of a dissolved gaseous chlorine dioxide solution prepared with the desired initial concentration constant, and the method for maintaining the chlorine dioxide concentration includes following steps: (a) to prepare a solution in which gaseous chlorine dioxide with the desired initial concentration is dissolved by dissolving gaseous chlorine dioxide in water; (b) to combine a chlorite with the dissolved gaseous chlorine dioxide solution; and (c) to set pH of the solution with the combined chlorite to 4.5-6.5 by combining sodium dihydrogenphosphate or a mixture of sodium dihydrogenphosphate with disodium hydrogenphosphate therewith. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
