<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of guiding appropriate hitting of a game ball during a game when a change of the way of hitting game balls is required in accordance with the progress of the game. <P>SOLUTION: A hitting target position detection means 164 detects a hitting target position of game balls on the basis of the passage of a hit game ball through an actuating ball entrance 68. A reporting means 138 executes reporting of contents suggesting a recommended hitting target position suitable for a present game state. For instance, when a change of the way of hitting game balls is required in accordance with the game state, a player needs to understand game properties and specifications of the game machine and guide game balls to a correct hitting target position.
