摘要 <p>The invention makes it possible to reduce pressure losses particularly in the electric discharge/electric field-generating device of an air conditioning apparatus in which a propeller-type axial flow fan is used as the blower fan. An air conditioning apparatus having a main body with an air intake port and an air exhaust port, and a blower fan, which is disposed inside the main body on the downwind side of the air intake port and which forms an air flow that draws air in from the air intake port into the main body and exhausts air from the air exhaust port, is equipped with: a heat exchanger, which is inside the main body and is provided on the downwind side of the air intake port; and an electric discharge/electric field-generating device, which is inside the main body and is provided on the upwind side of the heat exchanger on the air flow path, and which houses a discharge electrode and a counter electrode inside a box-shaped frame having respective open surfaces on the upwind side and the downwind side. The heat exchanger is disposed with the vertex (vertices) of the roughly reverse V-shaped cross-section or roughly reverse W-shaped cross-section facing towards the blower fan. The open surface on the downwind side of the frame faces the end face of the upwind side of the heat exchanger and is disposed at an angle with respect to the direction of the blower fan air flow.</p>
