PURPOSE: A method and a system for cultivating ginseng are provided to create an optimal environment for growth and culture of a plant. CONSTITUTION: A system for cultivating ginseng in a green house comprises: an environment control device for controlling an optimal environment; an optimal growth condition prediction system which collects data from the environment control device and an optimal growth condition; and a prediction engine which manages an artificial light source according to the change of sunlight. The environment control device controls a ginseng green house condition by being interlinked with the optimal growth condition prediction system. The environment control device comprises an environment analysis module, an analysis DB unit, a prediction engine unit, an optimal growth DB unit, and a data communication unit.
