The apparatus (1) has a vaporization device (4) comprising a vaporization container (5) i.e. tank, with two parts that are welded and/or glued in a fluid-tight manner. The parts are formed and connected in such a manner that a heating device (6) e.g. instantaneous water heater (17), is partially accommodated between the two parts. The vaporization device creates vapor (16) for a heatable cooking space (2). A sealing device i.e. seal ring, is provided between the heating device and the container. The container partially or completely consists of temperature-stable plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a vaporization device.
