<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-absorbing sheet that can be easily drawn one by one even though a plurality of the liquid-absorbing sheets are bundled. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid-absorbing sheet 1 containing at least a sheath-core type composite fiber has a first surface 2 and a second surface 3 which regulate the thickness of the sheet. The first surface 2 has a surface roughness in a range of 1.5-2.5 μm, and the second surface 3 has a surface roughness in a range of 2.0-3.5 μm.
