<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam structure with roller capable of assuring a sufficient strength even in case the valve acceleration at rising and falling of a valve lift is large and giving a stable valve lift characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: At the outer peripheral surface of the forefront of a valve lift part 32b, a cut 32c is formed, where a roller 33 is installed and works between the first valve acceleration peak and the second valve acceleration peak in such a way that the driven part (valve tappet 41) of a dynamic valve mechanism 40 gets on the roller body 33a of the roller from the valve lift part and then from the roller body 33a onto the valve lift part, wherein the diameter of the roller body of the roller and the position of its being installed and the position in the valve lift part where the cut is formed are set so that the first valve acceleration peak and the second valve acceleration peak are generated at the outer peripheral surface of the valve lift part where no cut is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
