<p>This transmission device (10) has the following: a generating means that generates a baseband OFDM signal on the basis of data to be transmitted; and a transmitting means that transmits a communication signal based on the real part of the baseband OFDM signal, with the imaginary part removed. If N (N being an integer) subcarriers constituting the baseband OFDM signal are numbered with integers from 0 to N-1 in order of increasing subcarrier center frequency, data signals containing the data to be transmitted are placed on the subcarriers with numbers less than or equal to N/2-1 and no data signals are placed on the subcarriers with numbers greater than N/2-1.</p> |
