#CMT# #/CMT# The supercharger (1) has a heat exchanger arranged in an exhaust gas housing (3) of the supercharger, where a lubricant e.g. engine oil, flows through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is formed as a helically rotating lubricant channel (2) and integrated into the exhaust gas housing. The lubricant channel and a shaft bearing (9) comprise common or separate supply and delivery lines (16, 27). The supercharger enables shortening a warming-up phase of the engine and reducing emission of pollutants.
