PURPOSE: A vehicle accident management system and method are provided to rapidly perform management and feedback for an accident and to accurately accept the accident by performing a filtering function for wrong acceptance. CONSTITUTION: When a sensor of an accident sensing device senses impact and position change, an accident sensing control unit stores current GPS(Global Positioning System) position information(S11). The accident sensing device informs an accident to an accident management server and periodically transmits accident data and the GPS position information(S12). The accident management server analyzes the accident data and the GPS position information received from the accident sensing device(S13). The accident management server determines whether or not a vehicle is moved during constant time by analyzing the GPS information(S15,S16).
