PURPOSE: A USB security device including a mounted smart card and a memory card and a security method thereof are provided to perfectly prevent data from hacking by installing an encoding module in an external smart card of a USB device, encoding, storing, decoding, and outputting the data. CONSTITUTION: An SIM(Subscriber ID Module)-type smart card(340) encodes, decodes, and outputs received data. A smart card slot(320) attaches and detaches the SIM-type smart card. A memory card(330) receives, stores, and outputs the data encoded by the smart card. A memory card slot(319) attaches and detaches the memory card.
