<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which: a sheet P that has been subjected to fixing processing by a fixing device included in an image forming apparatus may have ununiform temperatures; and if the sheet P having ununiform temperatures is subjected to processing for applying glossiness by a glossiness applying device, the entire sheet P is applied with ununiform glossiness, which causes glossiness unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming system includes: fixing means for fixing toner on a recording medium; temperature adjusting means for adjusting the temperature of the recording medium on which the toner is fixed by the fixing means; and glossiness applying means for applying glossiness to an image formed by the toner on the recording medium, the temperature of which is adjusted by the temperature adjusting means.
