<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to look forward to exchanging a thumb rest with another thumb rest for generating his or her favorite tone by providing a thumb rest to be used for a part of the components of a saxophone configured so as to be removed with one screw. <P>SOLUTION: A taper male screw (3) for removal adjustment is arranged at the center of a thumb rest body (2). A pin (5) for fixture is arranged on the side face of the thumb rest body (2). The taper male screw (3) for removal adjustment is tightened so that the pin (5) for fixture can be uniformly protruded, and that the thumb rest body (2) can be stably fixed to an inner wall side (7) of a thumb rest pedestal (1). Also, the taper male screw (3) for removal adjustment is loosened so that the pin (5) for fixture can be also loosened, and that the thumb rest body (2) can be removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
