<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave force reduction structure which can reduce wave force of waves given to an object structure. <P>SOLUTION: A wave force reduction structure includes a division plate 15 which is mounted on the outer surface of an object structure 1 provided on land 3 and divides waves advancing to the object structure 1 so as to avoid the object structure 1. The division plate 15 is provided so as to extend toward the outside from the outer surface of the object structure 1 in an opposite direction of the waves. One division plate 15 is mounted on a sea 7 side of the object structure 1.
