<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve, relating to the washing method of a washing machine for dishes or the like, the problem that in a conventional washing machine for dishes or the like, rinsing water is wasted because the rinsing water is applied also to a low-speed conveyor while keeping the amount of the rinsing water in accordance with the maximum conveyor speed. <P>SOLUTION: The washing method of a washing machine for dishes or the like includes: a washing step for sequentially washing objects to be washed with a detergent and washing water while conveying the objects to be washed on a conveyor; and a rinsing step for subsequently rinsing the objects to be washed with rinsing water.
