<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicle that allows an occupant of the vehicle to easy grasp the kind of an obstacle and the distance between the obstacle and the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The display device for vehicle includes photography means of acquiring a circumference photographed image of the vehicle; image conversion means of generating a mirror conversion image by converting coordinates of the circumference photographed image; bird's-eye image generation means of generating a bird's-eye image including an image of the whole vehicle; and display means of displaying the mirror-converted image and bird's-eye image on the same display screen. The display means displays the bird's-eye image in a rectangular first display area preset on the display screen with the vehicle front of the image of the whole vehicle up, and also displays the mirror-converted image in a second display area set on a side of the rectangular first display area and biased to below a side edge of the rectangle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
