<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hot rolling equipment in which a finish rolling stand, which makes the wedge ratio of a material to be rolled change, is specified and meandering of the material to be rolled is prevented appropriately. <P>SOLUTION: Between respective finish rolling stands of hot rolling line, the planar shapes of a tail end of the material 8 to be rolled are detected respectively, and the wedge ratio of the material 8 to be rolled on the outlet sides of respective finish rolling stands is calculated from the detected planar shape of the tail end. A finish rolling stand where the wedge ratios are varied at the inlet side and at the outlet side by an allowable value or more is specified and, in order to suppress the wedge ratio on the basis of variations of the wedge ratio, the difference of opening degrees of rollers between the work side and the drive side of at lease one of the specified finish rolling stand and the finish rolling stand arranged on the downstream side of the specified finish rolling stand is corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
