<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug body capable of preventing leakage of a fluid caused by insertion/extraction of a treatment tool. <P>SOLUTION: A valve 64 is formed in an approximately cylindrical shape from a material with elasticity, and its inside serves as an insertion passage 70 for inserting the treatment tool 40. The valve 64 is formed to narrow the insertion passage 70 by bringing inner walls closer to each other toward an intermediate position from a back end and to expand the insertion passage 70 by bringing the inner walls away from each other toward a front end from the intermediate position after closing the insertion passage 70 by making the inner walls abut on each other in the intermediate position. A first locking protrusion 84 is erected on the outer periphery of the back end of the valve 64, and a second locking protrusion 86 is erected on the outer periphery of the front end of the valve 64. A first regulation protrusion 88 for regulating the forward movement of the first locking protrusion 84 and a second regulation protrusion 90 for regulating the backward movement of the second locking protrusion 86 are erected on the inner periphery of a body cylinder 66.
