A method for desulphurization of cast iron with dispersed magnesium in the ladle comprises injecting the dispersed magnesium into the melt volume through the immersion rotating tuyere in two opposite directions at an angle of 90° to the longitudinal axis of the tuyere neutral gas jets. The dispersed magnesium injection is carried out with a specific intensity of 0.08-0.10 kg/min. per ton of pig iron at the rate of neutral gas consumption of 0.010-0.012 m/t/min. with the rotation rate of the submerged tuyere of 80-150 rev/min.
