<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station device in which power consumption can be reduced further. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile station device 1 comprises a paging processing section 113 and a signal quality measuring section 114. During the execution of an idle mode where a radio signal from a base station device is received for a fixed period at an interval of a first cycle, the paging processing section 113 extracts a call signal contained in the radio signal and analyzes the call signal to determine the presence/absence of call incoming to the mobile station device 1. During the execution of the idle mode, the signal quality measuring section 114 measures the quality of a radio signal received in a second cycle that is a plural multiple of the first cycle, among radio signals received in the first cycle, but does not measure the quality of a radio signal which is received in timing out of the second cycle, among radio signals received in the first cycle, on the other hand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
