<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element using a transparent resin substrate, which has improved film adhesion between the transparent resin substrate and an electrode layer or a barrier layer, and has high quality because there is no crack in the electrode layer or the barrier layer or separation thereof from the transparent resin substrate and there is no element leakage or shorting, and in which dark spots are restrained for improved bending resistance, and a luminaire incorporating this organic electroluminescent element. <P>SOLUTION: In an organic electroluminescent element, a cathode and an anode are formed on a transparent resin substrate, and there is at least one or more organic layers including a luminous layer between the cathode and the anode. The organic electroluminescent element includes at least one inorganic function layer between the transparent resin substrate and the organic layer, and also includes between the transparent resin substrate and the inorganic function layer a metal oxide nano-particle containing layer having surface-treated metal oxide nano-particles dispersed in actinic ray curing resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
