<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redundant amplifier in which every active amplifier can be replaced by a standby amplifier, and amplifier outputs can keep the same amplitude and phase both before and after switching from an active system to a standby system independently of the amplitude of an input signal. <P>SOLUTION: The redundant amplifier includes: a first switch for connecting inputs P1-Pm to m of outputs Q1-Qn (m, n are natural numbers, m<n) one-to-one; a second switch for connecting m of inputs R1-Rn to m of outputs S1-Sm one-to-one; and amplifiers A1-An connected between the outputs Q1-Qn and the inputs R1-Rn one-to-one.
