PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working machine capable of easily lifting and lowering a counterweight.

SOLUTION: A working machine includes: a revolving frame 5 having a front part to which a work attachment 4 is attached in the state of being capable of being raised and brought down; a counterweight 6 which is provided in the rear of the revolving frame 5 and which has a plurality of weight bodies 19A-19F capable of being mutually stacked; a right-side passage 14 which is provided on the lateral side of the revolving frame 5 in such a manner as to be elongated along a side edge of the revolving frame 5; and a lifting and lowering member 20 which is provided on the counterweight 6 to enable an operator to ascend and descend between the right-side passage 14 and the counterweight 6.
