<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of applying imaging processing to a desired position in image data generated by reading an original. <P>SOLUTION: Acquired from image data G6 generated by reading an original with a QR code are text data stored in the QR code ("Taro" and "Jiro") and text region coordinates indicating an area for composing the text data.
