<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can sense an abnormality in ball entry into a general winning hole without increasing a processing load of a main control part. <P>SOLUTION: In the game machine which includes a general winning hole and a variable winning hole, and puts out a predetermined number of game balls with the entry of a game ball as an opportunity for each of the general winning hole and the variable winning hole, a game control means executes a specific game for opening the variable winning hole, transmits an abnormality notification command to the performance control means when sensing the entry of a game ball into the variable winning hole when the specific game is not executed, and transmits a ball entry command to the performance control means when sensing the entry of a game ball into the general winning hole.
