A tool for removing a first flange (201) from a second flange (202) comprises a housing (110) having a central axis, a first end (120), and an open second end (130) opposite the first end. The housing also includes a first access port (138) extending radially therethrough. In addition, the tool comprises an annular basket grapple (160) coaxially disposed within the second end (130) of the housing and configured to coaxially receive and engage a first flange (201). The basket grapple has a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a cutout (164) extending radially therethrough. The outer surface of the basket grapple includes external threads (163) that engage mating internal threads (134) on the inner surface of the housing (110). Further, the tool comprises a key (193) releasably coupled to the housing (110). The key (193) is configured to selectively prevent relative rotation between the basket grapple (160) and the housing (110). |
