The device (10) has a hall sensor (16) arranged on a rotary element (15) for detecting an angular position of a permanent magnet (14) during rotation of a shaft (13). The rotary element is provided with an external thread and located in or on a screw thread guide (26). The sensor is detected at a distance between the sensor and the magnet. A rotational axis of the rotary element is aligned parallel to the shaft, where the shaft is connectable with the rotary element in a torque-proof manner. The sensor is located on a circuit board (19), which is arranged parallel to the rotary element.
