[Problem] To provide a receiver apparatus, a reception method, a reception program and a recording medium having stored the reception program thereon that can concurrently satisfy both a condition of desiring to preferentially stop a seek operation and receive a broadcast even if reception state is a little bad and a condition of desiring to consider reception state (reception quality) and that further can determine a broadcast content on either of the conditions. [Solution] A microcomputer (15) of a receiver apparatus (1) is provided with a weighting table (15a) in which the priority levels of broadcast stations the frequencies of which can be received are specified by establishing S-meter signal levels and noise amount threshold values for the frequencies of the broadcast stations, while a reception state control circuit (8) for changing the sound quality such that received program contents can be heard is provided at the stage following a detector circuit (7).
