<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system configured to make quick recovery from a deviation in word synchronization (alignment) caused by noise, etc. during transmission in the endoscope system for serially transmitting imaging signals from an imaging device of an endoscope to an external control device (a processor device), and the external control device of the endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: The processor device 11 connected to the endoscope 10 converts the imaging signals serially transmitted from an imaging chip 42 of the endoscope 10 into parallel data by an S/P convertor 81, and decodes the parallel data by an 8B10B decoder 82 thereafter. Pixel data (eight bits) for each pixel are converted into word data with ten bits being taken as one word by an 8B10B encoder 73 of the imaging chip 42 and serially transmitted. The processor device 11 detects a deviation in timing of the word synchronization for delimiting the serial data into word data due to an influence of noise, etc. from a decode error in the 8B10B decoder 82, and recovers the deviation by shifting the timing of word synchronization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
