<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer which is installed in a mountainous region or in the suburbs and in which, when determining a timing to replace silica gel of a moisture absorption respirator provided in the transformer, the replacement of the silica gel can be determined without requiring much time and efforts, and a transformer system. <P>SOLUTION: A transformer comprises a transformer case 2, a pipeline 3, and a moisture absorption respirator 4. The transformer case 2 includes a transformer body 1 and an insulation oil 90 inside. The pipeline 3 is communicated with the transformer case and becomes a flow passage of fluid in the case where respiration occurs in association with a volume change of the insulation oil. The moisture absorption respirator 4 is communicated with the pipeline and accommodates a moisture adsorbent 5 for removing moisture contained in the fluid flowing from the outside of the transformer case through the pipeline to the inside of the transformer case. The transformer further comprises a color sensor 6 which detects information on a color of the moisture adsorbent and outputs the detected color information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
