INFRARED REFLECTING MEMBER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared reflecting member that has a structure in which selective reflecting layers containing a specific rod-like compound forming a cholesteric structure are directly laminated and has excellent reflection efficiency.

SOLUTION: An infrared reflecting member 10 includes: a transparent substrate 1; and an infrared reflecting layer 2 that is formed on the transparent substrate 1 by directly laminating a selective reflecting layer 1R for reflecting an infrared ray of a right-handed circularly-polarized light component and a selective reflecting layer 1L for reflecting an infrared ray of a left-handed circularly-polarized light component. The selective reflecting layer 1R for reflecting the infrared ray of the right-handed circularly-polarized light component and the selective reflecting layer 1L for reflecting the infrared ray of the left-handed circularly-polarized light component contain a rod-like compound represented by the following structural formula (I) forming a cholesteric structure.
