摘要 The invention relates to a method for determining the load (F) onto a roller bearing (1), wherein the roller bearing (1) has at least two bearing rings (2, 3) and roller elements (4) between the bearing rings (2, 3). To allow to determine the load onto the bearing in an easy manner, the invention is characterized in that the method comprises the steps: a) emitting a radially directed ultrasonic signal (S) from a radial inner or outer surface (5) of one of the bearing rings (2, 3) into the roller bearing (1) by means of an ultrasonic sound generator (6); b) sensing an ultrasonic signal (S') at the radial inner or outer surface (5) which is reflected at the transition zone (7) between the bearing ring (2, 3) and the roller elements (4) by means of a receiver (8); c) measurement of the time of flight between the emission of the ultrasonic signal (S) and the return of the reflected ultrasonic signal (S') and calculation of the location (rd) of the transition zone (7) from the measured time of flight; d) calculation of the radial displacement (Deltar) by comparison of the calculated location (rd) of the transition zone (7) and the location (r0) of the transition zone (7) in a load free status of the bearing (1) and/or its rings (2, 3); e) calculation of the load (F) onto the bearing (1) from the radial displacement (Deltar). Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for determining the load (F) onto a roller bearing.
